WATCH: Team Philippines’ Mhicaela Belen allegedly caught using profanity during SEA VLeague game

The ongoing Southeast Asian VLeague appears to be a challenging experience for Philippine women’s volleyball team standout Mhicaela Belen.

In a post that quickly went viral on Saturday, a video captured the National University Lady Bulldogs star allegedly uttering expletives directed at a teammate.

The incident occurred during Team Philippines’ consecutive set loss to Thailand on Friday night.

Here is the video:

As her spoken words remain inconclusive, netizens hold differing opinions about what Belen stated in the video shared by @MessMinchin3.

Upon viewing the video, certain netizens perceived that Belen might have been muttering cursed words during their match against the Thais.

@JhonOkurrr: “Akala ko sabi niya “P.I., ang baho!! Hahaha”

@JustHereFor5: “Diko gets yung after ng PI”

@RevengeNow2: “P.I pak opp” daw hahahaha”

@iluvstpdppl: “Ansabi mess? “P*******a mga hayop” ba? HAHAHAHAH”

Conversely, a segment of netizens interpreted Belen’s murmurs differently, speculating that the volleyball star might have said “nabutata pa ako.”

@EchoSantos11 “Hahaha nabutata pa ko!!!”

Given the circumstances, Belen’s frustration is understandable, especially since the Philippine women’s volleyball team experienced its second consecutive defeat in the second leg of the SEA V.League.
