Akari Power Chargers rookie Faith Nisperos expressed her happiness about being on the same team as her former collegiate rival Justine Jazareno.
Nisperos, a former standout of the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles, shared a photo of herself with Jazareno from a recent training session with the Power Chargers on social media.
Jazareno, on the other hand, serves as a libero for the De La Salle University Green Spikers.
“Salamat teammate na kita @ylizyeth.justine. Di ba @trishagenesis_ iykyk 😆,” Nisperos wrote on her Instagram post.
Nisperos mentioned in a previous interview that she consistently faced challenges when competing against Jazareno during the UAAP matches between the Blue Eagles and the Lady Spikers.
“Nastrestress ako kapag si Justine ang libero kasi hindi ako maka-score,” Nisperos said. “But I want her to be my teammate in the future.”
Nisperos and Jazareno will have the opportunity to test their on-court partnership with the Power Chargers during the upcoming PVL All-Filipino Conference.
