This was Angelo Kouame’s reaction on his Twitter account after he gained his Filipino citizenship on Tuesday.
The Republic Act No. 11543, which was the naturalization bill for the Ateneo center, has been signed by President Rodrigo Duterte.
We could understand Kouame’s enthusiasm upon hearing that news now that he could suit up for Gilas Pilipinas, starting with the Clark window of the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers from June 16 to 20.
