Brownlee accused of throwing game following subpar performance in Game 2

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings’ import, Justin Brownlee, received heavy criticism on social media for his subpar performance during their 95-82 Game 2 loss to TNT Tropang Giga in the PBA Governors’ Cup finals at the Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday.

Brownlee faced heavy criticism, with some even accusing him of intentionally throwing the game after he scored only 12 points on 3-of-16 shooting and added 10 rebounds and eight assists in the defeat.

While Brownlee faced criticism, there were also those who rallied behind him, believing that the naturalized player will bounce back in Game 3 on Friday night.
