Choco Mucho Flying Titans setter Deanna Wong has a smooth transition as the main setter of the national women’s volleyball team.
According to the former Ateneo Lady Eagles volleybelle, her familiarity with her Philippine team teammates was a factor on her quick adjustment.
“The bigger factor there was getting to know each other,” Wong said in an interview with One Sports’ The Game. “That’s what it takes lang to be able to know kung ano set ang gusto ng spikers mo.”
“Ang maganda doon ay madali lang kaming makipag friends (sa isa’t isa) at makipag close together,” she added.
Wong was hailed as one of the greatest players for the Team Philippines during the recent tournament in Thailand.
