Gregory Slaughter is also taking his talents to Japan.
The Filipino-American center has agreed to a deal with the Japan B. League Division 2 team Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka.
Slaughter’s move to the Japan league did not come as a surprise after opting not to renew his contract with the NorthPort Batang Pier last year.
This will be Slaughter’s first competitive basketball after leaving the Batang Pier midway in the 2021 PBA Governors’ Cup.
The 7-foot-1 Cebuano was a three-time PBA champion during his time with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings before being traded to Batang Pier.
